Chapter 68

That one must not expect the special features of this world to continue after the resurrection, but must know that life in the world to come is angelic and in need of nothing.

Lk. xx. 34 ἀποκριθείς for καί K, Ἰησοῦς before εἶπεν, ἐκγαμίζονται for γαμίσκονται K; 35 ἐκγαμίζονται for γαμίζονται K; 36; 1 Cor. xv. 35; 36 ἄφρον for ἄφρων K, add πρῶτον after ἀποθάνῃ; 42–44. Cf. De Spir. Sanct. 15 where B. points out that κόλπος and δεξιά applied to the Father are symbolical.

That we must not expect the coming of the Lord to be local or physical, but must look for a coming in the glory of the Father through all the world at once.

Mt. xxiv. 23; 24; Mk. xiii. 23; 24; 25 τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἔσονται for ἔσονται ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ K, ἐκπίπτοντες for πίπτοντες K; 26 πολλῆς after δόξης; 1 Thess. iv. 15; 16.
