Rule 95: Is It Expedient for Those Who Have Just Come, to Start Learning Scripture…
This question too has been sufficiently dealt with in the foregoing answers.1 For it is fitting and necessary that each man should learn by heart from the inspired Scripture according to his need, for the fulfilling of godliness and that he may not grow accustomed to the traditions of men.

- B. 235, 236 seem to be referred to. If so, these Rules have been thrown together anyhow. At Tabennisi all learned the Scriptures by heart (Hist. Laus. xxxii. 12).
