The Pamphlet of which the present is a translation, was printed at Athens, Greece, in 1844, with “The blessing of the Most Holy Synod,” as appears on the second page.

One of the first professors in the University of Athens, told me that it was previously printed in Russia.

The translation into English I have compared with the original Greek, and consider it as essentially correct; and I recommend the perusal of it to all who wish to know the state of the Greek Church, and what it professes to believe at the present day.
