Now when the woman was known by her companion she conceived, and bare two sons. But when God favourably received the sacrifice of the one, the other was inflamed by envy and swelled in his wrath. He was the first man to rise up and shed his brother’s blood; he cast him down, he overcame and murdered him that was his own brother.
